Identify this lizard?
I think it's an alligator lizard. Found it in our living room in the Sacramento area. Are these found in Baja?

He is an Alligator lizard. His name is Louie. He got away just the other day. My cat misses him terribly.

Did she try to bite you?
Alex liked to pick up every lizard he came across. This one bites.

We used to catch alligator lizards all the time when I was a kid. Learned to never leave them in a mayo jar in the direct sun while tracking down
more. And if you forget, never to put the dead lizard in the refrigerator.
I think the world is run by C- students.

They have jaws like a pitbull/alligator they dont let go. They can hiss pretty good too.

He's a young Savannah Lizard from Africa. His name is Tymoteo. He'll grow a bit bigger yet!
We like going out to El Patron's out by the lighthouse for an early dinner with Tym. We put him in the lagoon below the restaurant and he swims around
while we eat. The Blue Crabs and little fish are curious and unafraid and he does them no harm.
Everyone is welcome to visit Mick and his animal family here at the dive center in Mulege!
