Punta Banda Camping/Restaurant Info?
Going down PBanda/Ensenada for a few days,
tnet camping. Is Villarino Campground next
to La Jolla the best bet? Want a place with
showers. Possible restaurant suggestions,
maybe the Blowhole Restaurants?
and a place in Ensenada for breakfast?
Anyone ever walked over PBanda Peninsula
to the Ocean side to Kennedys Cove/Arbolitos?
gracias por tu tiempo

As far as I know, the restaurants that occupy the pedestrian strip leading to the blowhole are tourist rip-offs. In fact, unless I miss my guess,
there is a common ownership. The Punta Banda Restaurant, located on the big curve as you enter the area is your best bet. Dennis is really the guy
that can give you the best info.

La Joya is the place for you and yours. Hot showers and good security. Paty's restaurant is right there and has great eats.
It's what a down to earth person would want.

Punta Banda Grill, just as you make the turn into the street vendor area........It has a big windmill.........good food, 1/2 price dinners on
Thursdays, Taco Tuesdays.
Couple of places for breakfast near the campground, you might even run into Dennis or other Nomads. There is also a Calimax at the Manadearo turnoff
for Punta Banda if you need supplies.
If you want breakfast in Ensenada, try Monique' on 9th St and Espinoza, across from the police station.......get the Monique's Special.

Ey, Sancho
If going to the blow hole (consult a tide chart on the web so you come by at high tide), check out the Havana Banana restaurant (the two story place,
not their little place next door). Live band on Fridays and Saturdays. Very good Cuban food, exotic desserts, huge & lively margaritas.
I agree with LA Jolla campground. Stayed there around 50 times. Water-front sites have no hook-ups, but worth the trouble.

I should have mentioned this yesterday....Sharkey's in Cantú has the best food with good prices in town. Opens at 2 PM...till about 9 PM, depending
on business.
Don't mention my name till after you've eaten.

The "Punta Banda Grille" mentioned in a couple of posts is actually the La Bufadora Grille. Great atmosphere, excellent food.

I recently hiked E. Kennedy abd Arbolitas and I always enjoy the hike. I have never stayed at La Joya but I have spentg time at Villareino and it was
secure and with showers but somewhat more expensive than La Jolla. I just attached 3 photos of Kennedy. As I said above the hike is great with
beautuful views
