Vizcaino weather

How's the weather out by Abreojos Asuncion area? I'm by San Quintin area and it's pretty blustery, foggy and little waves. I'm supposed to headed down but the weather has me thinking I should postpone a bit. :)

Not much different here---this morning the marine layer burned off earlier. But it has been basically overcast and cool in the morning, warm in the middle of the day, windy in the afternoon, and cold at night---good sleeping weather.

But, the local surfers have been out every day in wet suits---not big waves but OK.

Changes from day to day here in Asuncion. We were out near the main surf beach today, and no real waves today.

Amigos, it's still the foggy season down here much like San Diego. Our pacific weather this time of year consists of a little fog, morning breeze up to 15-20mph but sunny days with the night time temps in upper 60s. Ocean temps a chilly 67 degrees!! Change begins in late June/early July . Then when the breezes off the pacific stop... Humid and warm with Thunderstorms. Hurricane season begins in August and peaks in September. We've had a few big storms the last few years!! Asuncion is similar or cooler. I heard a friend say it was 100 degrees in La Paz yesterday. Gracias a Dios for the pacific breezes!! Tio

Sorry, I don't keep actual track---I base it on clothes or blankets needed.

Right now sleeping with window open a little to hear ocean and one thin blanket and heavier quilt.

Need socks and warm sweatshirt for walking around outside at night. But seems to be getting a little warmer each night.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the updates! I think I"m going to wait a couple weeks before heading all the way down, and hopefully then summer will be in full swing with a solid south swell. ;D
