Harry Crosby
Watching Camote's interviews with Baja Authors got me wondering; Anybody got the word on Harry Crosby? A another true blue from the old school Baja
Classic and a Man that Don Jimmy adored.

His son-in-law was in the tienda last week and reported that Harry is 84, living in SoCal and doing well for his age.

Harry's in La Jolla, and from what I last knew was swimming somewhat regularly (?) at the pool at La Jolla High School.

Doug, Judy thanks for the up-date, I recall him to be always a spire sort of guy, carrying his age for easily than most, it is so good to know he is
still alive and well. I wonder if he still writes?

Harry is my wife Pamela's uncle. He regularly corresponds with her via Facebook. We had a great get together with him and his wife Joanne at a
Vietnamese restaurant about 2 months ago. His is an extremely erudite individual, tells wonderful stories and shows no signs mentaly of his 84 years!
I believe that another book is already in the works, hes not one to be inactive, kinda like my Wife!

I met Mr. Crosby at lunch in La jolla a month ago. Once he found out I was interested in Baja we could have talked for hours. It was a real treat for
me.

Thanks for the kind words. Coincidentally, looks like Lera lives less than 60 miles from me in California - in fact I'm passing through her town
tomorrow for a camping trip. I'll just "drop in" with a hungry 6-man video crew.

Count me out for an interview, please. My 30-year affair with MrBM would undoubtedly be mentioned, and that would give people good reason to doubt my
sanity.

I am trying to drag it out of her...!
BM couldn't be Erle Stanley Gardner, Howard Gulick, Ray Cannon, Jimmy Smith, or any other famous Baja person she has or may have bumped into down
there!

No way, DK! Erle and Howard and the rest of those guys were around my age, and my motto has always been, "Git 'em young and train 'em right."
Y'all may have noticed the vitriolic MrBM's tendency to casually mention various women who have succumbed to his charms. Well, there wouldn't have
been enough conquests to brag about had he not benefited from my coaching.
