Bank in Vizcaino?

Is there a bank there, or the nearest town for Bancomer?

It is across the street from the Pemex station at the north end of town. Nice people in there and the ATM is USUALLY reliable.

I am extremely satisfied with this Bancomer...although on occasion the bank machine is down or empty so have a back up plan. Dont forget the amounts of withdrawl are in pesos so dont get confused.

If you need anything or have any questions, the gorgeous woman who sits at the desk is Dulce and she is from Asuncion, speaks not bad english and is extremely helpful. Opening accounts or setting up internet banking is a breeze with her.

Shari-

Was wondering how frequently their ATM runs out. Before they opened at that location, we always drove all the way through GN to use the ATM there. Last time we did, there was an upcoming holiday and even though the bank was open, the line at the ATM was so long, it took us 30 minutes to get cash. Since the bank opened in Vizcaino, we've skipped the one in GN. Big problem is that for those headed S/B, the next ATM isn't until Santa Rosalia. Thanks.

It is very rare that bank machine isnt working for one reason or another....but that said...I have depended on it and have found it not functioning more than once in the last year...and I only use about 10-15 times a year. I thought I saw a Bancomer bank machine at the new gas station at the entrace to GN...a little room at the corner of the station across from Caracoles.

Thanks, Shari. I'm going to be at The Cowboy in a couple of weeks. I'll certainly check it out.
