Private boats in Cabo

Can anyone tell me what the rules are for launching a boat in Cabo? Do I have to check in with the port Capt? Get a permit from the Port Capt? Or can I just go launch?

Pay for the use of the ramp and launch, I think it's about 150 peso's or so for in and out.

Be sure that everyone on your boat has a fishing license if you have ANY fishing gear on board.

If you are going to Gordo Banks, you might want to check into launching at Puerto Los Cabos...it was $200mn

Forgot to mention there was a free parking lot last January in the vacant lot right across from the mall parking structure, thats the only one we found. It was easy in and easy out with no problems.

Just don't leave anything in your car that you want to see again.

Cabo Launch Ramp

Geat, Thanks for the info. I am going to try for a few days in Cabo with my boat and stay at Vagabundos. Then back to Verdugos at the East Cape.
