Secure parking, Gro Negro?

We'll be heading south in nov. with bikes and equipment in the pickup. Which hotel in Guerrero Negro has the most secure parking? I've stayed at Malarrimo's several times and we still bring gear into the rooms as the secuety is so so. Is this as good as it gets in Gro Negro? Thanks

I think the Posada de Don Vicente has the most secure parking...enclosed, entrance is chained at night and there is a security guard...besides lots of police stay there alot. Also Cowboy Hotel has a night guard and chains the entrance too...both have park in front of your room door and are at the entrance to GN.

Hotel los Caracoles has 24 hour camera surveillance, pretty much enclosed parking right in front of your room and I think they put chains across the gates at night, not sure though.

Thanks for the welcome. Actually I have been lurking here for a while and getting some good recommendations from everyone, especially where to dine. I actually gained weight on my last trip (in april) thanks to you guys and i was riding lots of miles every day. I'll be down in Loreto pitting for the KTM pro team (hopefully the winning team this year) and other KTM racers. I am not racing the 1000 this year but have in the past. Love to ride, camp & fish baja and am always bummed when the trip is over. We have a camping trip planned in the spring also at El Burro or maybe Coyote which will be more relaxing and I might even catch a fish to throw in a tortilla!
Scott
P.S. Is Ray's still on the recommend list for dining in Mulege?

Welcome, fudscrud! Yes to Ray's, but he usually is closed for the Summer. Maybe someone who is in Mulege now can answer to that.

I put on weight just reading the Nomads' recommendations.

Gro Negro is looking for a bigger one of these to assure secure parking for all visitors:

Welcome to Nomad FudScrud!!!!

Roundtuit, last time I heard, los caracoles accept small dogs as long as the owners do not let them on the beds or furniture, and mostly only in the queen suites, since it's tile floor instead of carpet.
It's always good to call and make a reservation or visit their website and send an email and you can get your questions answered much more accurately!

Is not the Los Caracoles is getting run down?
Does it not need a paint job inside?
Better cleaners?
The price is still high?
