Weather / fishing report request
As we all know...the weather patterns this year has incredible changed. In Sacramento ca it's 20% cooler.....very windy. Only a few days of 100f when
it's normally 14 days of the hot stuff.
So here's my question for those of you in Pueticitos, GB and BOLA:
Is the water temperature cooler / air temps too? Has this affected the fishing if so?
I am doing a road trip southward for a few weeks in October, and need to know what to pack (cold weather, ect, ect, ect) and where not to bother
fishing. yes...boat in tow
Thanks for the time if you respond.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Hola, you should take cool weather clothing if you're going to be on the pacific side for any length of time.
the reports say it's been windy and the fishing is mainly for bottom fish and possibly yellowtail.
someone else will fill you in about the cortez side.

we were planning on an asuncion trip in 12 days. weather isn't very warm like it should be. tuna are nowhere to be had. looks like we're gonna do the
surf zone 150 miles north and maybe do a 2-3 day trip to BOLA to soak some bait......
if it was epic EVERY time i guess it would be boring, eh?

Okay! Thanks 4 the report.
I am expecting a slower season.....but you know...just being out there in the sea in my boat...is really good enough! I just hate the wind. It stops
surf fishing to boating :-(
The Triggerfish.....it's the first thing I go after! I was at Costco last month in the fishy section. Laying in the deep were packages of Lobster. 6
tails per package. $172.00!!!!!!!!!! And no..I was not stoned on drugs!
The Triggerfish is my lobster

Those are East Cape kayak tuna....yesterday's. It has been three weeks of dry spell that started to break just before that storm came through. Lots of
little dorado this morning and one more small tuna. No pictures of today's. Just fillets. Weather has been weird this summer, lots of South wind. Noon
today, 92 degrees, 75% humidity with a nice little breeze...water upper 80's......might be too hot around Bahia de Los Angeles for anyone to type!
