I used the 'club' for years on my 99 Dodge 3/4 ton pickup. Quit using it when I was told that all they have to do is saw or cut the wheel & they
are off & running. Never had a problem in over 23 years of going down to Loreto area. Park smart. Be observant of your surroundings. And always
lock your car. Good luck.

That'll do it. Bob looks like he could put my whole head in his mouth!
My sister used to have a Lab/Great Dane/German Sheppard mix she named 'Bob' (after a neighbor she disliked). He looked like a King Sized Black Lab -
best dog ever!!! Extremely protective of his 'family'.

I'll send you my Mother in law for extra security ...whats your shipping address !
The Club...
Yes...I used them for years. Better than anything else....for thief of INSIDE your car. Will not protect your valuables outside (tires, stuff in the
trailer...on the luggage rack).
Just one tip....get deep under the car...and wire up a extra key to the Club!!!!! You be doing this if you loose the key chain...

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

I'll second that.
Short of the mordida thread, every now and then, security in Baja is a favorite thread.
I have 2 vehicles. Both have 2 alarms and 2 kill switches.
The backup alarm cannot be easily accessed, has it's own battery, will NOT shut off without a key. (Had one in an RV once and the battery went
dead, alarm went off, bolts attaching the alarm rusted, took almost an hour to rip out, I threw the siren on the ground and beat it with a large
wrench and it wouldn't turn off.)
So, the alarm is only good if you hear it going off. In some situations, alarms are ignored.
The kill switches will prevent the vehicle from started up and driven off. That's my primary concern.
A thief that can tow your vehicle trumps the kill switches though the alarm will be wailing as it's towed away.
Security is preventative, at best. I have peace of mind for what it's worth even though I am hyper-conscious of my vehicle's security.
A barking dog is the BEST security any vehicle can have though it has limitations.
US Marines: providing enemies of America an opportunity to die for their country since 1775.
What I say before any important decision.
F*ck it.

With no mother in law present, maybe leaving the wife in the vehicle would suffice. Whaddya think, Les?
(Oh oh...I used to be Blanca's friend.)
Um (think quick)....Blanca, I didn't mean you. You're name is not Bob. (Oh
Jeeze!)....Um, oh, and you are not a dog either.

Scouts honor, I had a neighbor who had a loudspeaker and a switch and I think a recording of the most godawful knocking you ever heard in your life.
It delayed for about ten seconds but when it came on, WOW!

Tie her to the front bumper, leave her a bowl of water and last nights rib bone to chew on. Wish I could do that to mine.

For a real theft deterrnt, consider this: Many cars have electric fuel pumps with turn-over switches. An off-on switch can easily be wired into this
circuit and the switch hidden near the driver's seat. If the car does not have a fuel pump, the main electrical feed to the ignition of some cars can
be similarly switched. Not foolproof, but better than a club. They can be defeated in nothing flat.

Ya mean like the dog they tied to the bumper of the station wagon in the Chevy Chase movie National Lampoon's, Vacation.. or did you mean leaving his
dead mother inlaw in that chair on the patio... in the rain...
Tying her on top was pretty cool too....
Thanks, had not thought about that movie in a long while...

MasterLock Starter Sentry
I installed the MasterLock Starter Sentry on our Suburban and am pleased with it so far. It replaces the starter relay. For some other models, I
think it shuts off the fuel pump.
