Tecate Bank

It's been about 5 years since my last Baja adventure. I'm planning another trip in 2011. Last time I crossed at Tecate, I found the little bank across from the border station very handy for the tourist card fee. Now I gather this bank is permanently closed? If so, can you pay the fee at any other bank in town? (Like the one down the hill a few blocks). Thanks for the help!

My problem last Monday at the Tecate BANCOMER was that the line was out the door. I'm guessing it would have been and hour + wait.
