Hughes Net Satellite


Can any one tell me about Hughes net satellite In the area of Sant Rosalia BCS.
I have Business account with Hughes Net Satellite in the States.

Dish is a 1.2 Model HN 2000 2 Watt

Would it work in Santa Rosalia ? What would be the different s? D

Your dish will work just fine down to southern Mexico. No problem in SR. With business level bandwidth, you might almost Skype!
I have same setup, only Motosat mobile.


NOTE TO ALL NOMADS: If you see a Baja and Back caravan on the beaches in Baja Jan to Mar, you are welcome to come check your email thru our satellite internet rig. Just c'mon over anytime!

The dish will work with no problem,but last year the 9000 modem didn't work. The 7000 worked fine

One consideration is which satellite you are commissioned on. Not all satellite footprints reach into BCS.

With Hughsnet I have always had problems with Skype due to delay between Earth and Satellite because of distance.
