People in Tijuana get creative when it comes to anti-theft devices.
The more anti-theft devices the better. Along with the club and an alarm with a kill switch. Some people remove parts making it impossible to drive
the car; disconnecting battery cables, removing the alternator, etc.
The best security, of course, is a parking in a lot with a security guard.

mcfez, he is a guard dog...
really funny, everyone was afraid of him...
asked him, Bob, "hey does anyone talk to you?", saw the tail wag.. and we became fast friends... then I gave him a good butt scratch.. and he is in
"love" now...
Try and stop off and give him "doggie" treats ... his owner thinks I'm nuts as do others around there .... the dog could break my arm in a second..
and his mouth reminds me of two catchers mitts with "teeth"...
But, he is just showing how much he likes me... just a little chew.. with a couple of bites.. has broken the skin a couple of times.... but, then he
has never gotten to chew on someone before... so he is just learning right now... good guy... wish he were mine... bit of a tank, but.. one of these
for an old guy is not a bad idea.... or his pard.. a Rottweiler named Oliver ..... also one that is a guard dog that got jealous of Bob getting all
the attention..
Those two in my Bronco... could leave the windows down..

Wooopsss. I didn't read further and should have. yikes. $500.00 smackers. I sent an email to the company in Arizona asking info. Probably worth it
though. Have to go look in the back yard for another buried coffee can. don't trust them banks anymore. Besides, they don't encourage "thrift"
savings anymore what with 1/2 to 1 % returns on investment.
Dreary day here in southern Oregon. Cloudy. Not warm. Can't wait for Nov. to come & we head to Loreto/Nopolo/Cabo & back for a month of warm
(hopefully) weather & seeing friends

I have the live view gps tracker on my landcruiser in baja. It is alarmed also but if someone steals it I can locate it to the exact location on
google earth type mapping.

An easy and cheap theft deterrent on many vehicles is to pull the brake light fuse. The engine can turn on but the tranny won`t shift because it
thinks your foot is not on the brake. Only works if the thief doesn`t know this trick.

Good advice to have a hidden key. But why under the car? Why not hidden inside the car?

I'll send you my Mother in law for extra security ...whats your shipping address !
The Club...
Yes...I used them for years. Better than anything else....for thief of INSIDE your car. Will not protect your valuables outside (tires, stuff in the
trailer...on the luggage rack).
Just one tip....get deep under the car...and wire up a extra key to the Club!!!!! You be doing this if you loose the key chain...

I prefer the "club" device that goes on the brake pedal. Prevents the brake from being depressed which, on my Ford truck, disables the ignition and
prevents the tranny from coming out of park.
Also, there is almost no clearance down there for cutting it.
Interchangeable from car to car, too.

the BEST anti-theft solution... ride a horse.. that's still a hanging offense ...
May be that would help.. car theft.. becomes a hanging offense...
Would slow it down.. just string em up from the nearest light post...
Would also help the economy... rope sales would increase...

I had the Ravelco system installed on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It now only operates when a special apparatus and cannot be started and driven
away.
