RV Parks/San Ysidro, San Diego
Can anyone recommend a RV park near San Ysidro, Chula Vista, San Diego or environs? We'll be pulling our travel trailer up from La Paz and need an
overnight or two near San Diego.
Checked the "search" function and couldn't find any previous queries. Apologies if this is redundant.

Campground in Chula Vista
There is a KOA in Chula Vista - about 8 miles north of border
111 N. Second Ave
619-427-3601
"E" street exit from either the 805 or 5 Freeways.
Also a "Campland" at Mission Bay

Thanks, John. For one or two nights KOA will do quite nicely.

Try Walmart at 1200 Highland, National City. Super Center.

In Chula Vista there is the Marina campground.
It is fairly posh and a few bucks more than KOA but quieter, on the water and close to lots of shopping.
And on Wednesday nights they have entertainment for old folks - the banana microphone works best for karioki !

The search function here is less than forgiving. The request has to be, it seems, more than just specific. I've searched for things in the past I
know are in there, but it will come up empty. Keep changeing the wording and eventually it will catch something.....assuming there's something to
catch.
Anyway, I'm assuming you plan to cross at San Ysidro. Sí??

Also Walmart National City is not a super center.

The Walmart at this location calls itself a ''Super Center'' and they are fine with RV's parking in their ''shared lot'' near the 99cent Store.
They are open 7am - 10pm.

Just my 2 centavos on the Wal-Mart...it is now a Super Center, everything from fishing gear to groceries. Don't know about the RV parking, but if you
drive up the hill you can park it in front of my house for a day or two!

Harvest Hosts.....what a great concept. I wonder if it will happen in Guadalupe Valley although the B+B owners would probably object.
