Where ??????????

For my latest Baja Truck, can I find (without having one custom-made) a license plate frame that says "DOG is my Co-Pilot " ?

Looking at current websites, I can find WOOF with the phrase in smaller letters on a placard (and a Paw print one) and TEN pages of particular dogs i.e. "German Shepherd is my ......", but none that simply say DOG is my Co-Pilot".

Outstanding

and Interesting. Today is a productive day.

Although I searched "Yahoo" and "Altavista", Wings Pilot Shop never came up. Or, at least, didn't on the first page.

Ordered Three a few minutes ago.

THANKS

BTW, I'm not sure that MY dogs won't know the difference. They're pretty smart. They've got me trained.

Most large malls have a kiosk where you can have one made. Great idea Bill, Winston, my Baja Collie, agrees also!

Large Malls ?

Too bad they don't have one at Walmart, Costco or Sam's Club.

Mostly the only places I go.

I know there are some malls in the Palm Springs-Palm Desert area, but I haven't been inside any of them for (Thinking back) about seven years. '03. I do go down that way, but it it's not next to I-10, it's too far.

At $3.94 shipping (no sales tax) from Wings, I'd spend more on gas.

I'm with you on that, I HATE malls! Once a year for Christmas shopping is the extent of my tolerance for those places! What no South Coast Plaza in 29 Palms!! :o How can you even exist!!! LOL

Whatever Works

Well, Works.

I use them all at one time or another, often finding that my choice of Search Words has more influence over the success rather than the Search Engine. Generally, I start with whichever one is on the Home Page I happen to be on at the time.

BTW. it wasn't long ago that PC World testing rated Altavista above Google in overall searches. I haven't seen a comparison test lately, but it doesn't really matter. You don't find something, you try something different. It's all free and fairly quick.

In the case of the "DOG" plates, it was easier to post here, let someone else look and come back to it later.

Worked fine.

For the dyslexics this reminded me of a bumper sticker that said "Thank dog"
That reminded me of the fairly sacrilegious bumper sticker my friend had which said "God was my copilot, but we crashed in the mountains and I had to eat him"

The BARK

Earler, when initial searches turned up a lot of choices of every specific dog imaginable, but not exactly the generic "Dog" one, I also found that a site (Thebark.com) shows that phrase as a registered trademark so it occurred to me that anyone else "might" be prohibited from marketing it.

Apparently not. I received my confirmation from Wings Pilot shop.

On the subject of God v. Dog, I have to say that Dogs have let me down fewer times in life.

And, given me a great deal more comfort.

For whatever that's worth.
