No powder cleanser??
So I went to a local walmart and to commercial mexicana and I could not find any powered cleanser such as comet or ajax. The next day I happened to be
in Chula Vista and hit the Walmart there. I STILL could not find any and thought "this is crazy!" An employee just happened to walk by and was able to
show me 3 cans left waaaay in the back on the bottom shelf. So apparently the stuff is very popular and that walmart is full of Mexicans.
So now I am wondering if powder cleansers are not available in baja????

Anyway...I've bought lots of powder cleanser here. I don't pay much attention to brand names with stuff like that.

Odd not to see the stuff. You know...I cant find Cheese Puffs that dont have freaking hot chili seasoning in it....anywhere in Baja! What is this?
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Ya, but you can use it to clean stuff...leaves a nice sepia residue

Try baking soda + nylon mesh pot scraper.

Yesterday I bought two cans of Ajax at the former CCC here in Cabo. The shelf was fully stocked witrh powdered cleansers.

Si, use something like Awesome cleaner (better than Fabuloso which has such a strong smell), and then add your baking soda for abrasion, or bleach as
needed. Awesome cleaner is pretty awesome - cheap too. I really miss the SaniFlush dry granule toilet bowl cleaner. The granules would sit at the
bottom, foam up and do their job. Why get rid of such a great product. And they changed the recipe for Stouffers macaroni and cheese - now it's
crap. And the cans of tuna are smaller but still the same price. Ditto with coffee. 10 oz can? $1.25 for a can of Herdez in San Diego, but 45
cents in TJ? They're yanking our chain.

Just mix sand in with your Fabuloso.  Oh, wait! Sand won't dissolve. Maybe
use granulated salt? Just don't touch you privates after using as some folks do.

In San Felipe, at least, I once verified that despite there being at least Hundreds of bags in the Chili variety at a dozen stores there wasn't a
Single bag of originals to be found.
As somewhat of an addict, I embarked on the search when mi esposa committed the sin of forgetting to pack them.
Now, we head South with an abundance. I'll never have to look again.
AND, what's with this Limon in everything ? Chips, nuts ? I bought a pack of "regular" Blanched Peanuts once and, with the first mouthful, "WTF" ?
It wasn't anywhere on the label other than in the "tiny-print" listing of ingredients.
