I paid around $355 RT, including taxes. I did not use any of my 1,725,000 FF miles!
Thats right, I have over 1.7 million miles and plan to use everyone of them when I retire next year! No more Economy Class for me!
In the mean time, I am a peon, just like the rest of ya, to the back of the plane.
There was a time not too long ago when you could pay a reduced rate if you used some FF miles but they boosted the miles needed and I do no think it is the way to go.

I'm going the opposite direction. Leave Pt. Chivato at 3am and arrive in Laguna around 5pm. Flying a tan Explorer.

Just used 70,000 miles plus $160 in fees to fly American from LAX to Cabo in Feb. for two.

Not all many years ago, when Aerocalifornia was flying, we used to go LAX to SJD for under $200. Those were the days.
