In that vein, El Moro Suites is just a bit East of the potential commotion and is quiet. I have no affiliation with them.

On a different note, your aversion to fried fish is something I can commiserate with. However, while I'm certainly no expert on the topic, seems to me that the "classic" fish taco, often called Ensenada-style is fried. However, the predominant fish taco in BCS is grilled, rather than fried fish. Was actually somewhat surprised by the recommendation. That said, a dirty little secret about this is that fried fish can be way older than grilled without revealing it's age.

OK... Maybe I was to bold in my earlier statement about the fish tacos of La Paz.
Just where in the Baja ARE the best tacos? I'm on the hunt soon.
