Don't know when they had a direct flight. Do know that before they shut down, it could be done on Mexicana, but not direct. Perhaps your friend ought to consider taking the ferry from La Paz.

Gotta pick the right days!

Just messing around on the website, I could book La Paz - MZT roundtrip on Jan 24th, back Jan 31st, total fare $26.34/person. (64 cents is the actual fare, plus 25.70 in taxes)

But at that price you can only bring a carry on bag.

Try clicking on the hot link posted above. all you need to know. I learned something from this thread. Had no idea that airline existed. All 737 fleet. A partnership between the Mexican bus consortium (remember Flecha Verde?) and the Irish family that pioneered low cost flights in Europe via Ryanair. One thing to be said for Ryanair is that are absolutely no frills. In fact much has been written about their plans to install pay toilets on their planes!

They fly to Guadalajara. In fact they fly to Las Vegas.

Hola BC,

Whadaya want for $26! As long as it jumps all the way over the puddle you're OK.

Actually they do fly to Guadalajara, from San Jose or La Paz. Are you ready to go again? Need more furniture or what?

See ya in a while,

Jeff
