Over night recommendation near Cabo airport, anyone?

In February I have to take a passenger to the San Jose del Cabo airport for an early morning flight. We are wanting to spend the night before close by. Do any of you have a recommendation for a motel, B&B, rv park, place for an overnight stay near the airport at Cabo? thanks in advance, b1

I don't know of any accommodations out by the airport. But why not stay at the Tropicana right downtown San Jose del Cabo and take the toll road to the airport in the morning. Should only take about 15-20 minutes, with no traffic ever.

The Trop is just off the town square with restaurant in front and boutique hotel in back. The toll road leaves the four lane highway at the roundabout in front of the Mega store. Best 28 pesos you ever spent.

No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

Thanks Jefe for yor information. I have not been down in that area for 11 years and was looking through a pretty thick pair of beer goggles at the time to boot. Tropicana sounds fine. Do you know if they have a web site? thanks agian, b1

If being close to the airport the most important thing. Hotel Carolina is the closest to the airport. It is in front of Soriana's just off the highway behind an auto parts store(quaker oil advertising on the building). There is a traffic light on the corner.
Either of the other suggestions would mean that you could walk to dinner the night before.

Personally, I'd do the Tropicana and arrive early enough to stroll around. The ambiance beats the heck out of what you will find at the other two places mentioned.
