Amato Pangas???

Does anyone know if Amato Pangas is still in operation in Ensenada? If not, are there any other manufacturers still in operation in the Ensenada area?

Thanks!!!

Check with Ensenada Boatworks on Hwy 3 on the rightside, just after you get on road going north towards Tecate..
They fab a nice 26ft center console..

Also, Luico at IMEMSA in Ensenada sells panga hulls..

What do these units cost about (the one you are speaking about here)....down there in Baja? What size outboard do you recommend? Went to the website....wish it had English option viewing.

Do check out Ensenada Boat Works. My 16ft whaler clone was built there. Though a base model stripper, it is very solid, and after being stored outdoors for 10 years, is holding up very well. They have base hulls, or you can specify seating, bait tank, storage, center console, tiller type, whatever, and they will build to suit.

My Yellow Pages are 2008, but nothing about Amato under boat builders.
