I like Santispac even with the highway noise. Mary's is open now and has showers.
Kayaks used to be for rent on the beach but that's been gone for years. All of the gringo palapas have been torn down so there's plenty of space. You may have to rent boats in Mulege.

Looks pretty quiet at Escondida...didn't notice Kayaks there on my last visit. You can rent kayaks at Posada Concecpion for $10 per day. www.posadaconcecpion.net

A polite correction

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Russ at Ana's restaurant @ santispac used to rent kayaks. If not, ask around for Daniel, a very pleasant Mexican guy, who will deliver kayaks to you.
EcoMundo, and its kayak rental, is long closed up.

Ramon was still renting kayaks when I was there last April. I spent a month at Escondida and Ramon didn't mention moving.

I was at Playa Coyote the other day and there were some gringos camped there and they said they were renting kayaks. They said they had permission of the Ejido- I think the area they were in, is privately owned, though.

sounds like a gig Bob Frambes ought to get into, he's got the best location for day rentals.
