I wish I could take the credit for discovering Storm Pulse but Dennis showed it to me... and others.

The NOA Aviation Digital Data Service...ADDS....here: http://aviationweather.gov/adds/

will give you radar, satellite, progs, METARs and all the stuff a pilot needs to fly in Mexico or the US. This is by far the best WX site I know of.

Sailflow.com has some good general weather materials, but their animated wind models are very good. Gonzaga isn't on the site, but LA Bay is, and it's one of the better tools for wind prediction, and it gives models over a period of days.

Bucko's is a good one.
weather.com also has excellent on mexico incl baja and centro am.
BPI has great WX links too if yur a member.

yes Bucko....old pilots have learned not to be bold pilots.
its for that reason i chose to drive home last week, a 4 hr slog vs my usual 55 min commute by air - the diff was low level ice along the route - i never deal with ice unless it is in a martini shaker....hahahahaah.

All the wind prediction sites I've gone to this morning missed what we have this morning.
SSE at 26mph ~ That's really unusual. I think the wind forecasts are really tough to count on.
Edit: I wrote SSW and it's SSE sorry:no:

I really like this site

http://www.surf-forecast.com/breaks

Choose your place (e.g. ours is Punta Marquez) - for purely local forecasts (wind and wave height important here as we launch into the open Pacific break) it even beats www.buoyweather.com.
