Try this, but don't take the info as gospel. They don't want anybody knowing what they're doing.

If you were crossing at Canada, there's lots of available info. Mexico....not so much.
If you find a number, let us know.

In the AM, the San Diego radio stations give crossing times given to them by US Customs and they are, in most cases, outright lies. I can remember [in spite of my efforts to forget it] sitting in a morning line going north at San Ysidro, listening to the radio report a twenty minute wait as I was well into my second hour.

Go Tecate.

Update: Sorry, this is for San Ysidro. Let me see if I can find one for other crossings.....

You can telephone to the border crossing station in Tecate to find out what the wait time is by dialing (from Mexico) 001-619-938-8300.

was surprised at time getting into US after ease of getting into Mexico:
10 minutes vs 1-2 hours.
Are the Arizona-California desert crossings preferable to Tecate ?

Jadams,

Please check your u2u, upper right hand corner in blue. I'm wondering if you're the jadams that I went to school with in Glendale.

ps. I meant to say GAA, not GCC.

You might have a pop-up blocker on. Try holding down the Ctrl button while clicking on the link and see if it works.
