And today is Jan 19th. Where's the news 4 SF?

Below is C/C off their Website. This web news in no longer a reliable source of information since they cant get off their lazy asses to update each day.

www.sanfelipe.com.mx/news/index.html

Copied from this morning:

Thursday 6 January 2011 ??????!!!!!!!

Today is Epiphany, or in Mexico "Tres Reyes", the official end of the Christmas season. Next week, business will get back to work and the paperw.........bla bla bla......

My question here is this:
Does any BN have a liable news source coming from San Felipe that you can share the web address ? Thanks in advance.

It is mostly "Kats Korner", but you can link that off the San Felipe site you quote.

The only actual newspapers are all in Espanol. You can buy that paper from the guy that sits in the median strip every morning just after the arches, or you can sit somewhere in town and wait for the car with the loudspeakers to come through.

As mentioned the San Felipe News is bueno,
weatherunderground (the private SF weather
stations list) is the best, blueroadrunner.com
is another, mildly interesting
mcfez, for someone who said they were busy
snd may not post, you are very chatty,
congragulations, there not many nomads who
can command a thread dedicated to them
and receive the love you did
saludos

Thanks sancho !

Yeah....chatty chatty I got

You know....being here at the BN is second best to being in Baja.
The group of us here......was made for Baja...and the posts show that. I get "relaxed" here far better than I do watching the Bogus Evening News for an hour. Great conversation and views here. Just like in Baja!

I bet 50 cents that anyone here if I were to meet them in real life (and I have).....I will get along with that Nomad in a superb way

Even with Lobsterman.

It is mostly "Kats Korner" ...

I (automatically) post notifcations of any updates to almost all the blogs in San Felipe on San Felipe News, but most of the blogs have very few updates, so Kat's Korner appears more often because she posts more often.

Baja Good Life Club are beginning to get a bit more active though (for those that were thinking about doing it, they just announced major changes to the Baja Love Ride).

So usually something new appears each day, between them and the twenty or so other lower traffic blogs, plus the occaisional story I add myself.

Tony at sanfelipe.com.mx has been ill recently. Indeed he tried to retire from that site a year ago. So he's drastically cut down on posting news, it's more of an occasional column.

BTW, for a quick glance at the San Felipe weather see the weather page I started recently: http://www.sanfelipenews.com/weather/ -- just has current conditions from the local weather stations at the moment, more to be added gradually. There's a couple of forecasts in the right column of every page also, for what they're worth (not a lot, lack of weather records here makes the forecasts fairly inaccurate).

Is this why the their office was closed?
