Hwy 3 & Tecacte Crossing N/B
Just wondering if anyone have any CURRENT updates on the Hwy 3 road construction. We're heading N/B in mid Feb.
Also, the Tecate crossing N/B has 2 lanes and the left lane was open to large RV's during the weekend crossings. Is this still the same this year?
Has anyone on Nomads have nay info for taking large RV's through the truck/commercial entry point?
gracias

I'll be going up Wednesday and I'll give you the latest on Thursday.
How large is your RV? Last time through at Tecate, I asked the inspector about a pickup and a 32 foot trailer going through the car lanes. He said,
as long as you use the left of the two lanes up to the booth, you can make it.
He also added that driving skills will come into play for this.

Tecate Border & Hwy 3 Updates?
Just wondering if there any recent updates on the Hwy 3 road construction. We're heading N/B in mid Feb.
Also, the Tecate crossing N/B has 2 lanes and the left lane was open to large RV's during the weekend crossings. Is this still the same this year?
Do they allow large RV's through the truck/commercial entry point?

Thanks Dennis
I Have a 36ft 5th Wheel + our truck. We've been through the Tecate border b4, but there was some talk of allowing big rigs to use the commercial
crossing there. As well, you could use the left lane with big rigs to allow you to enter the US crossing, but it was on a trial basis for weekends
only. Any help/info would be appreciated.
