Are they able to do this again?
I'm guessing that they just haven't updated their website....notice it says FMT....and FMT's became extinct when FMM's replaced them 10 months ago. I
didn't see a "last updated" date on that page. You have until June to figure it out!

Send them an e-mail. I have found them to be very good at answering e-mails if it is about something like this.

Kind of a moot point, in that even if you get your "visa" from them, you still ahve to stop at immigration to get it stamped. You eliminate the need
to go to the bank next door, which may actually take 5 minutes of your time. So, what's the benefit?

Not so much a moot point, there's more ways to enter than driving. Flying out of Tijuana, you stop at immigration, they give you the FMM form to fill
out while you stand by the line of people coming through. Then you (or someone else) pay the fee at the Aeromexico ticket office back in the
terminal. Then you go back to immigration for the stamp. Having a prepaid, pre-filled out FMM would be a lot simpler! Walk through, get a stamp and
adios.

Yes they do and their service was excellent and quick and made crossing a breeze.

I use their service, last time in Nov. 2010. We got to the border early evening, walked over got it stamped, had a taco, walked back. Next morning,
over the border, no stop, no hassle.

Quite true... the benefit is for those who like to cross south at Tecate... with no bank next door... or if the bank anywhere is closed when you
cross.

I wd imagine you can get it stamped in any town and not just when you cross the border (TJ or wherever) ????? So, you might do it when you stop for
lunch in another town that has a bank ? Just wonderin'.

If you get their Insurance, I see the point maybe,
is anyone suggesting joining just to get a pre paid
fmm? Looks like that turns a $22 fmm at the border
into $39 club fee plus $32 or so for the pre paid fmm?
so approx $60 for an fmm?
corrections to my math gladly accepted
I have to correct myself
thats approx $71 for a pre paid fmm you just get 1

plus, when we cross at 3-4am they make EVERYONE sign it in their presence. then walk to the bank back at the parking area. then walk back to the back
by the gate and wait while the guy can't find the stamp. then walk back to the truck. seems like it takes 15 minutes.
time is money and i got little of both....

One joins the Discover Baja Travel Club for resons other than the FMMs... that is just a service. They have a complete selection of Baja books and
maps at a discount to members and offer HDI auto insurance at a group discount rate... as well as other club srvices and activities. The quaterly
magazine is online now, so anyone can see that. There are guests who do film and slide presentations.. like Graham Mackintosh and other Baja authors,
too.
