Also thanks to Bob and Susan. We still laugh about the time my mom mailed a package to us in Punta Banda. Mail typically took between 2 and 3 weeks to get from Washington state to Punta Banda. After the 3rd week of not receiving the package we asked our local postmaster about it. He looked to his left and than to his right. At that point he pulled out a wastepaper basket and after peering into the basket said "no, yo no lo he visto" (no I haven't seen it.) We never depended on the Mexican mail but it is nice to be able to mail grandkids cards and stuff from Mexico.
