There's a Nissan dealer in Ensenada. They've moved at least once, but I'll get directions and contact info for you in a while.

Mulege is closer to La Paz than Ensenada!

I might take the ferry from St. Rosalia to Guymas. Is there one in Guymas?

Not sure about other dealerships, but the Nissan dealership in La Paz flat refuses to do ANY no-cost warranty work on vehicles not purchased in Mexico....i.e., a U.S. warranty is totally unrelated to a Mexican warranty! So check before you have any warranty/recall work done as the dealer will most likely expect you to pay for parts & labor. It is possible that an Ensenada dealership could have reciprocal agreements with the states simply because of geographical location....or you could just go the way to San Diego to have the warranty honored on a U.S. purchased vehicle.

Legs brings up an important point. I seem to recall this very same issue arising on this forum in the past as relates to a Ford product.

In any event, check this page. You can obtain the dealer telephone numbers and make direct inquiry as to whether they will honor the US recall.
