You will have to go to a cheap bar, as Tequila manufacturers do not put worms in the bottle - only makers of cheap Mescal.
Maybe try El Squid Roe. They'll do anything for a buck.

Down there coupla weeks ago. What a disappointment.
I used to *love* the late night party at El Squid. (Don't even bother earlier than 10:30.) Silly, drunken Gringo, slightly raunchy, great fun party.
Boy was I disappointed. They still had a MC up on a scaffold but all he was doing was maybe queuing up the very loud music and then singing along or
just lip syncing. Seemed like the youngsters were having a good time but I found it totally boring.
Cabo is decidedly my least favorite place in Baja (I don't count TJ) but I've always enjoyed a late night party there. My wife has always cared less
about the place than I. Sed me to her: "I've just lost my last reason to come here (Cabo)" Sez she: Good!
Love Baja; Cabo pretty much sucks.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

True. We had a better time this time at Gigglin Marlin than I've ever had there before. But we were a bunch of well lubricated folks from late 40s
to mid 60s. And frankly we brought the party with us. Place was dead before we came in. We attracted summore folks to come in and hang awhile. And
the party left with us, too.
Butt my point about El Squid Roe is that it used to be a really good party bar (by my measure) and now I couldn't see that they were distinguished in
any way. Just loud music to dance to with no theme or real interaction with the crowd. They had it and broke it AFAIC.

Go late after 10 pm to any Mexican club....
Most Nightclubs in Mexico dont get rolling till around 10pm- 11pm at night...and they keep going till a little before sunrise.
Shots Bar & Grill. Margaritas wont make u disappointed. "Shots" is now on Miguel Hidalgo Street about a block up from Marina Blvd.

Actually, there are some fine [so someone says] Mescals. Do a google search....you'll see what I mean.
Here's a bit of Mescal lore:

Panchos is still going strong. But last I heard, John and Mary Bragg have semi-retired. John was on a mission, and acquired one of the worlds largest
tequila troves. Still available to enjoy.
As for Squid Row, and other iconic party places, there are a couple of factors that have combined to change the paradigm. First off, places like Suid
Row, and The Giggling Marlin, along with their ilk, were the super powers of partying as far back as 25-30 years ago. Cabo is not what it was back
then. Developers have made it a far more upscale destination. Huge amounts of visitors are of the type that would rather dine at Ruth's Chris Steak
House than get "faced" at Giggling Marlin or Squid Row.
Secondly, The rowdy joints attracted the "spring break" crowds, that are much less likely to travel down because of the violence that has been
reported about Mexico's drug war.

I agree with Wodd, if it has to do with Tequila/Mescal go to Panchos.
