Go and search Shari's posts and look for a date line in June. I think you'll see sweat shirts & long pants in some photos. Others just trunks. You
can get some really nice days there in June but remember the saying "June Gloom" it's there too.

I can tell you that in July, it was fantastic... totally unlike the coastline north of Guerrero Negro that was all overcast and cold. Seems the hook
of Baja (Vizcaino Peninsula) keeps that summer gray/gloom away from Asuncion!?

Cannot speak about Asuncion per se, but two years in a row, we hit heavy overcast, clouds and some drizzle at GN in late June. Heck of a change from
what we were experiencing elsewhere in Baja.
Just thinking that if your're going to fly by Mulege on your way South, you might consider it on your return journey. As memory serves me, I think
Serenidad is the only place in the area that has a pool. For what that is. Kinda above ground. But you are correct that you can get to the water.
You might consider this little gem North of Mulege, and just South of Santa Rosalia'

If I wasn't clear, the Vizcaino Peninsula (which is south of Guerrero Negro and goes west from Scammon's Lagoon is what seems to clear the skys on the
other side... This was told to us by Shari when we arrived there in July, 2007. The gloom north of Guerrero Negro (Seven Sisters coast) was also over
Guerrero Negro... and has been on many other summer trips through there.

Woody... looks like we're gonna miss seeing you in Baja yet again. We'll be headed for La Bocana in April. One of these days, eh amigo?
