Secure RV Camping El Rosario/Catavina

Is the motel Sinahi/rv park running in El Rosario? Has anyone stopped to camp at Rancho Santa Inez near Catavina recently?

Recently RV camped at Santa Inez about two weeks ago. There were about three others spread out camping overnite on the grounds. Always seems more secure with others around. Also an American from New Mexico lives nearby during the winter who either owns the Ranch or property nearby and he IS prepared to handle any trouble in true western fashion if you know what I mean. He is a very friendly person and is ready to help anyone who needs it. Drive slow on the rutted road in, it is a bit hard on a RV.

Camped at Rancho Santa Inez around March 23, 2011. About 15 other units there. Military check stop just south of the rancho turn-off. Patrolled by police once that night.

Our dog wouldn't forgive us if we didn't stop there - it's gorgeous. Beautiful quiet, $7/stay.

El Rosario is a favorite because of all the good places to eat! Not as pretty or dog friendly as Catavina, tho. All depends... Tio

Motel Sinahi / RV park. Still going strong. We stayed there on the way home last month. The restaurant out front is excellent as well.
