fast track pass

anybody use these san ysirdo fast track crossing passes? some hotels and restaurants in TJ rosarito and ensenada will give you a fast track pass for spending 90 bucks at their places. If you ever see people in the far right lane at the border crossing being allowed into a special lane ( this isnt the sentri lane) this is the fast track lane.
would'nt it be great if wet lips or anthony's were part of this program? they claim 15 to 30 minute waits.

Used to be the medical emergency lane. Saw three cars get turned away by the inspectors today. One car turned away had handicapped CA plates and a lady in the back seat covered in blankets. A truck they allowed through had an open bed with a man riding in the back with some metal scaffolding. We were today wondering what the new criteria for access to that lane is...

Unless something changed from last October the pass you get is what allows the inspectors to lift the gate bar arm that allows you to pass. I have seen them turn people back also but it was due to not having the pass. In fact I have been right behind cars turned away and with my pass allowed to proceed, so if the inspector is handed a pass then you are good to go. If someone knows of some changes would definately like to know, as I use the passes to get relatives back across the border faster. I have a sentri pass but relatives do not cross enough to make it needed for them, and with the pass everyone in your car is good to go. I get mine at Ruben's in cantamar and Rosarito Hotel. They do have not any expiration date on them and I used some of the first small ones they first started using without any problem. Splash was also suppose to get them as well but he was still waiting when I left in late October for his passes to be approved by Mexico Tourism Agency. The Fast Track Has Become Too Expensive

And Ruben doesn't do it anymore.

Thanks so much for this info, and I will call him, Keri. Wish we could come this Saturday, but we came back NOB today! I sure hope we can get the pass for my brother and niece's visit next week. Love Ruben's food!
