I looked for directions a few yrs. back, never did get
there though. I got directions off a Dive Site, can't
remember exactly. I think if you use a search engine,
Arbolitos, Kennedys Cove it will show. but basically
there is a road, don't know how rough, which turns left off the Bufadora
Rd., just as you past the La Jolla, Villarinos (sp)
campgrounds, maybe 200 yds. past Villarinos campground,
zoom in on a Google map, it will show the dirt road
and Kennedys/Arbolitos

Yes it is just past La Jolla camp. It leaves the hwy and passes thru several homes. I believe it is fenched on both side thru there. As you approach
La Jolla camp on the hwy look to your left at about 10 or 11 o'clock you can see the dirt road over the mtns to the cove. The dirt road has been
graded. A lot better than in the 80s when we were diving there. I was there last November. There is a concrete ramp down to the water on the west side
where Kennedy kept his boats. I didn't talk to anyone so I don't know if it's still in the Kennedy family or not.

Anyway....when you get to La Joya, stop at the fire station and get directions to the turn-off if you are unsure of anything.. It's about a quarter
mile on past the fire station.
Going up the dirt road toward the west, the road will split, one to the right and one to the left. Take the right option up and over the hill. Once
you take that right, you can't get lost.
Open 'em if you got 'em....you are now in a Pacifico zone.
The Kennedy family still has the place.

It has some pretty good ruts in places, but the local divers and fishermen drive it in two wheel vehicles all the time. There are also parts of it
where two vehicles can not pass each other, so take it slow and easy and you should not have a problem.

What happened? Did you turn into a Monk?
No of course not, just in a hurry to get to La Bufadora with the grandkids. My brother and old man Kennedy were good friends. I had met him several
times before he died. Other than a passing greeting I didn't know the boys. This was back in the late 70s and early 80s. I quit diving there in the
mid 80s when I got into off-road racing. Too many hobbies and not enough time and money.
