best couch-shopping expedition websites

I don't know about you, but when I get Baja Fever I search the net for the camping gear, off road stuff, fishing lures - anything and everything that has a remote connection to my baja adventures. So what are you favorite sites to check gear, etc?

I like to just drive down and wander around. Usually settling down at the book rack:

www.rei.com

Cabelas catalogs are also worthwhile but not as 'stimulating'.

www.cabelas.com

For fishing:

www.histackleboxshop.com
www.thelongfin.com

Also, that XX commercial ....

"He's the most interesting man in the world"
"The name Guadalupe sound better when he says it"
"He has no problems climbing cactuses"

gets me thinking about baja adventures.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Couch-Shopping

The problem is that the Truck shipping charges on a couch would be outrageous.

Bought my last at Big Lots (in person). Great Price. $50 delivery included taking away an Old one AND I got them to take away a Rocking chair I had out in the garage no added charge.

My favorite is REI (Return Every Item) buy it, use it for 6 months or a year, return it if breaks or you don't like it. Doesn't get much better than that.

Sometimes I find whatever I'm looking for at

http://www.overstock.com/

Great prices and $2.95 for shipping anything, and no sales tax!

Good story- we were sink shopping and wanted a Keohler Stainless Farm Sink-about a grand-went to Lowes on a Sunday, and the "reps" could have cared less. Told us special order 10 days, while still talking amongst themselves....
We walked out and went home and saw the exactamundo sink on line for over 400 $ less. And get this- I ordered it and it was at my house before I got home from work the next day
