Any place to exchange Argentinian Peso in La Paz.

Hello

I have some Argentinian Pesos I would like to exchange. I asked at a couple of casas de cambio and they said I would have to go to DF or Guadalajara but I thought I would ask to see if there might another place.

Thanks

I would think a bank would be your best bet....but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Edit: On second thought, many local banks won't exchange $$ unless you have an account with them! Do you have an ATM card? That might be the easiest way to get local currency.

Or....don't they have a Foreign Book down there? Usually they'll take anything on a bet.
A hundred years ago, when I was growlin' around TJ and running short of money, I'd go to Caliente and cash a check with hardly a question. They wanted me to gamble and didn't mind doing a bit of that themselves just to relieve me of my money.

Try Bancomer

BBV owns it and also some Argentinean banks.
