Restaurant at Santispac?

Here's a quick question for someone from the Mulege area?

Is the restaurant at Santispac still open every day, only on weekends, or closed for the season? Planning on stopping there for a day or two and wish to know the status. Thanks.

Me, too. I also want to try the food and ambiance in the new Restaurant in Coyote--the one Pompano photo opted. I will be in MTown in a week. Are these beach spots closing before July?? Gracias, Amigos. Tio

I don't know why no one has ans. this for you. I haven't lived there for awhile but from reading this board and while we lived there Ana's is open 7 days a week. Don't know anything about a new restaurant in Coyote. I'm sure someone that lives there will come along and tell you for sure.

I was there a month ago and it seemed to be open every night with dancing on Saturday night. I understand the dancing has stopped for the season, however. Boney's at Rancho Coyote was open every night, closed at 10pm and has wireless internet, free. The food was good.

Don't know about any other times, but ate there yesterday (Sunday) around 5:00. Had a very good enchilada.

They close up Anna's for the summer. They open up in October. That's what I saw two years ago.

Restaurants in Coyote Bay (BOC)

Hopefully this information will be of help to summertime café patrons.
Beach cafes in Coyote Bay during the hot season:

Bertha’s Cafe at Playa Burros

General and seasonal hours. Summertime hours and weekly specials could be different….and it MAY temporarily close according to business activity.

Coyote Café – “Estrella del Mar” (Old Boney’s place…where we used to play volleyball.)

Ana’s (Russ y Lupe’s) at Playa Santispac

Again, these cafes are open for General and Seasonal hours. Summertime hours and weekly specials could be different….and they MAY temporarily close according to business activity. Customers!

This is common practice for all the Coyote Bay area beach cafes. It’s all about the amount of patrons, naturally. The Bay in summer is rather un-crowded….that fact might have something to do with the HEAT!

Hi Bob,

Ana's has always been closed on Wednesdays, at least since Russ and Lupe had been running it. Note: Just before I left on my trip Up North, Russ told me it was a 50-50 chance on staying open as usual for business at Ana's this summer, as it was tough going without a lot of customers. It's his choice and certainly has been the custom throughout the past decades.

Same with all the other beach cafes in Coyote. (BOC) Hope that helps ....all you can do is stop and check it out.
