Asuncion to Bahia Tortuga

Anyone in Asuncion area or David K , can tell me if this is doable on a 2WD? Intersections from Asuncion to main road into Tortuga.

The main road is doable in a 2 wd. Following the coast is not doable in anything the co-ops have the roads gated trying to cut down on lobster & abalone poachers --i didn't check your wpt's

we were just there a couple weeks ago...no problem but it's a long haul and about 37 km of crappy crappy washboard...at least 2 hours from the Asuncion junction.
We took the coast road there...no gates at all but also very rough..they both suck. The coast road is more dangerous because of many blind curves in deep arroyos...meeting a fast driver from Tortugas there would be very nasty.
