It's pretty similar to the one 30 miles North of San Felipe and that is now a Military Checkpoint.

For sure. The deeper they dig in, the better the roads will be made around them.
Gets them out of the hot sun though.

Love the double one going to San Felipe from Ensenada-you can see the other one but must go thru both??!! BAAAADDDD planning.

If you tell the guys at the second checkpoint that you just came through the other one, they generally just let you go. Unless, of course, they feel
like a guided tour of a nice air-conditioned RV.

I'm pretty sure that"s the starting gate for the new horse racing venue.
Trump is turning the Urapan hot springs/laundry/bathing location into a high rise time share all inclusive, exclusive golf and tennis resort. Tiger is
reported to be the course designer. You'll be able to fly in to avoid all those pesky local Mexican people.
P.S. Do any of you people even go to Mexico?

Theres a Mexican market in the next town over I go to sometimes. But only in the daylight hours. Love me some Carnitas and Chicharones!

When coming from Ensenada through the first checkpoint they have a special lane (coned off) so you can get through the second one leading to San
Felipe. But not from San Felipe towards Ensenada so yes you have to get inspected by both (unless they let you slide)
