Mood: Pole Line Road postponed due to injury

I was at Coco's Corner one year when I happened upon a family that was stuck there. Punctured transmission oil pan damaged their mini van, but the Father vowed to return 'next year' with his family.

Hopefully, with a lifted SUV or truck.:light:

I drove down pass the end of the pavement about 6-7 miles to the end of the road bed yesterday and lots of work building culvert drains etc. About a mile from the end was a large back hoe operator digging and about 50 yards behind him were two coyotes on the road bed. Near the end was another large backhoe and two guys working on it. I stopped and talked to them. One of the mechanics was from San Diego and use to work for Hawthorne Equipment but was layed off about two years ago and is now working out of TJ. He said the compony doing the road work was real good to work for. They thought they would be out there all night. I gave them a beer and went on my way.

Photos are optional Jose... Paint a picture with words! Please tell us about Gonzaga Bay or Punta Final... where-ever you were! Who, What, When, Where, and Why... maybe add How!

I suggest a having a huge BN party in Gonzaga Bay once this road is officially paved to the "steps" of the bay.

Anyone on this?

I got this guy I know that will bring the ribs....and another that makes great beans!

McGonzaga Party - Coming Soon

We should make this a big event. For many of us here.....it opens up the Pacific side ....to get there with ease. hell....getting to BoLA will be a cinch.

I will supply 3 days worth of cold soda to no matter how many folks come

Gonzaga Bay

When the road is paved to Gonzaga I should be one of the first to know. I have a house there (44Magnum). Stop by for a beer.
Possibly we should start a pool as to when it will be paved to the PMEX at Gonzaga?
Right now I am thinking not sooner than Thanksgiving or Christmas and a year from now would not surprise me.
One of my neighbors told me they are averaging paving a mile a month. It is 21 and a half miles from the end of the pavement to the PMEX.
