TJ vs Otay border crossing
Ola Nomads...The last time I crossed at TJ the on ramp to your right had a huge bolder in the middle of the entrance forcing me to get lost in TJ,
lots of adventure, not alot of fun. Anyway I'm planning on trying the Otay border crossing this time. My hope is better road signs, less traffic and
less time wasted. Onto Mex 2 which I've never traveled. Will the Nomads give me some input on this travel plan? What is Mex 2 like....how about Otay
as far an easier better signed crossing and how long from crossing to Ensenada? Anyone willing to give me a some advice?

It's open now..FYI. It puts you on the lower side of the fence road....one lane in each direction. No way you can get lost on it.

Otay border is not well signed and the route via blvd 2000 is out of the way. You'd be better off crossing at San Ysidro. The rock that was once there
is long gone.

Stay away from the border, any part of it, on Sunday or Monday after a holiday weekend. Plan your trip around this caveat.

Uh Oh.....I think you're gonna have to bring written permission from your parents to enter Mexico without them.
