Anyone driving to San Juanico from So Cal?

We're looking for someone to take a pack n play baby's playpen to a fish camp just south of San Juanico (Scorpion Bay). We are in Carpinteria. The baby, Luis, was born April 5 and he has NOTHING. Subsistence at the fish camp is minimal in these times.

He was born to first cousins who, in their genetic make-up and family history, have down syndrome, albinism and deaf/mute genes. By a miracle, the baby appears normal! He was born to Luis Higuera, older brother of Marisol Higuera, the deaf/mute girl born at the fish camp who just graduated from Rancho Sordo Mudo. (www.marisolhiguera.com).

The playpen will give baby Luis a safe place to sleep off the floor.

PS> Any other baby boy items would be great as well. Through our non-profit you will receive a letter for tax donation purposes.

San Gregorio at the mouth of Rio La Purisima on the north side of the river.
Are you headed that way?

Wow, I just read (in the link you included) the story of Marisol and her family, and the incredible things you have done for them. Truly inspirational!
I'm not headed down that way anytime soon, but we have friends in San Juanico who are the kind of folks who get stuff done. I'll contact them to see if they can find something at a segunda and get it down that way.

If anyone is coming south to Mulege or San Ignacio or around this area, we shall find a way to get anything dropped off to san juanico, people here are visit ranches every weekend and surely someone will be headed that way.

OPTIONS:

1) leave the stuff at the pitstop restaurant on highway 1 called EL CRUZERO. Please tag it BLANCA-LA BOCANA.

2) if anyone is going to Ensenada, U2U me and we can schedule a drop off there and anything left will get to me within a week.

3) the other option is to drop anything you want to donate off at my mom's house in san diego. again, u2u me for address etc.

Si, se puede.

Thank you ElCap and BajaBlanca for your posts! There is a car going to Loreto at the end of July, so that will get the playpen there a month from now. From Loreto we will look for someone going over to San Juanico.

Will still be looking for something sooner!
