Mexican banks on the 4th of july

Does anybody know if the Mexican banks and immigration offices will be open on Monday the 4th of July. We had planned on crossing at Tecate on the 5th and had hoped to get our tourist visas etc the day before. Thanks Ron

I got to admit, this is a funny thread. For sure at least it is some Saints Day, pues, besides Santo Lunes.

The worst wrecks and spastic driving maneuvers I´ve ever seen have always been on "san lunes". Sunday late afternoon/evening takes 2nd place.
