KM59 Todos Santos

Is there still beach access at KM 59. It's been a couple of years since we have been to Todos Santos. Last time, I was rving there. A big condo or hotel was being built. No sure if that was every finished since the financial market problems. Does anyone have any updates for this area?

Thanks

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

That marker was the turn-off for the San Pedrito RV Park and campground that got ruined in a hurricane a number of years ago. There have been several upscale hotel projects built along the coast in the intervening years, But beach access, by law should not be compromised.

You might try contacting one or more of these folks for your answer.

Welcome to Baja Nomad, bajarunn.

I haven't been there in years. I wouldn't mind knowing as well.

Pedrito is washed out out but beautiful like the old days! Dry camping on the beach with locals surfing am mini/monster barrels! Slash?! Good camping but no services for the msss. Still very friendly except on Monday--where am I days! Come on down. Sale Tio

Maravilla Hwy 19 Km-58

Here is a Google Earth KMZ file you can open and zoom around to the proposed project --- not to be confused with the Maravilla project near La Paz.

Hwy 19, Km 84 instead

Last year I made multiple visits to Km-84, both daytime & night time. Turnoff at the shrine at the curve in the road. Awesome empty beach. Easy 100-yard access road. But not sure about parking there and camping. No facilities. Close to Mx-19 (headlights, noise, safety?). See images below & check out Google Earth. Here is a Google Earth KMZ file you can open and zoom around.

K59 would be Pedrito road. Like Tomas said, no facilities down there, bring what you need, haul out trash, surf the point, dry camp. Nice places to stay South along that beach if you want to spend money. Lap of luxury @ http://www.ranchopescadero.com/

Hwy 19, Km 91 instead

Otherwise try Km-91. About 2 Km easy dirt access road. Private. Secluded. No facilities. Away from Mx-19 (headlights, noise). Wide, flat parking area. Didn't see anyone during 3 hours. See images below & check out Google Earth. Here is a Google Earth KMZ file you can open and zoom around.
