dog friendly motelin san vicente

we are looking for a dog friendly motel in the san vicente area. looks like it has been awhile since this question has come up.

heading northbound, we usually stop at the motel sanchez in vicente guerrero. this we are talking about pushing on a little further to make the next day that much shorter.

any help would be appreciated.

Not much to choose from. Wait. There's a new one on the mtn side coming into town from south!! A few postings talked about it/ had stayed there! Search or maybe Nomad Power will come thru. Isn't there one by the hwy near San Antonio del Mar turnoff?? Very much a roadside hotel--bet they would go for it w/ cleaning deposit! Let us know! I love San Vicente and used to camp at Erendira. For many years we have stopped in San Vicente to eat at Valentins---very family run place. They also have a hotel, but NO pets, so we don't stay there. Don't know of another hotel there.

However, on the north end of Colonet there is the Hotel Sonora which puts you a little further than Hotel Sanchez in Vicente Guerrero. It has been a couple of years since we stayed there, but the dogs were no problem.

It is a very basic and can be noisy as it is a place where many travelers stop late at night.

DavidK and Tio are talking about Paraiso Colonet. New. Nice/good/restaurant/and very noisy from all the trucks coming down the hill. NOT dog friendly.

Sorry to learn about the noise factor. Alway kinda considered these folks to be on the cutting edge, given the Colonet port plan. Though that with that much distance from the highway, noise wouldn't be an issue.
