Satellite TV Reception---Central Pac Coast

Anyone in the central Baja, esp San Juanico, AbreOjos, Asuncion area, able to pick up good signal strength from DishTv or DirecTV? . What size dish/antennae will do the trick? BCSTec posted on this about 2yrs ago. He showed a map of the Peninsula with the areas of difficulty and strengths. Alan/BCS Tec, I believe. Anyone who could share it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks for any help. Tio

I don't know anyone with Dish Tv. I have a friend who still has Direct but he only receives a limited number of channels nowadays. I think he gets 2 of the 3 main networks. He has Sky also so he can get his Sports stuff.

I think most people here just deal with SKY.

Sorry, I don't know much about what's available for TV right now.

Forget about tv, go talk to your friends, family and neighbors.

In Asuncion we have a 1 M dish pointed at AMC 21 (125 deg) and an FTA reciever. We get 8 PBS channels, which is pretty good for free. I'm sure the 1 M dish would work for Dish as it worked for us in La Paz.
