SJD airport into town? Bus? Taxi? Collectivo?

What is the best way to get into town after landing at Los Cabos airport? San Jose or Cabo itself. open to all suggestions.

If you're talking about soon, it's the off-season now.
That means you should check out rental cars.
A week for less than $100 on carrentals.com for SJD starting from tomorrow for 7 days.\
Bring a videocam to document any car blemishes...include a picture of the agent:lol:

Excately where do you want to go? Hotel shuttles run from about $15 - $25 USD depending where in SJD or CSL you are going. Taxis to CSL start out at about $80 USD, don't know about SJD cost. If you have luggage it can be a long walk to the main highway to catch the local bus.

To catch a local bus, walk straight out of the airport and to the local hwy. It's about 15 minute walk with baggage. Only do it if you have rollers and are healthy.

I rented a car for 7 per day and 13 for Mexico Insurance. I used AMEX car rental program $29 per rental, for the liability in surance.

We used the new toll road, and it was very quick to get from the airport to the Barcelo hotel in SJDC

Gerald...

Take the new High Speed Shuttle Train...only takes 10 minutes to get into town and only costs 20 pesos! You catch it right next to baggage claim.

Gotcha! Sorry....just kidding! Personally, I think I'd look into renting a car. It will give you a lot more freedom to do some exploring, get to beaches, restaurants and such. Just be careful and obey the laws and you shouldn't have any problems.
