Did they go back to the normal schedule?
Also, Udo, the exit US gate opens at 5AM. Mexico doesn't do that as well? Just askin' as I have no idea.

Regarding Visitor Visa, Tecate immigration and bank
This has been addressed before, but to keep it fresh, I'll ask:
Where do you park on the Tecate side to go into Immigration?
Where is the bank we pay for visa, and what time does it open?

gate is usually open at 5:00. AM Depends on what you are driving but behind the store there is parking. Bank is at the end of the street going
downhill and opens at 9:00

Don't believe so. Are you in a hurry?

They close on the dot... even if you are next in line outside of the fenceline... Prepair to sleep in your car... Didn't happen to me ever, but it did
to edm-1 (but he was in his 4WD motorhome, so no biggy).

Yeah....you'll be first in a line of many as the line starts to form when the gate closes.
Work traffic will park in line and leave their care their til the following morning, returning to have an early cross time.
This is, of course, for north-bound.
Buen Viaje.

my buddy and his girl got stuck about a month ago. he said at 11.30 they were about 20 cars back when people started leaving their vehicles and
walking away. they wondered about trying to find their way to tj but decided to sleep in the car. needless to say, sweetpea isn't too fond of
baja, being her first time down.....

Nope. We crossed on a Sunday morning in February at Tecate. I think about 8:30 am. There was no one there. We kinda thought it may have been
closed or something it was that type of ghost town feel.
