Role playing games

I wonder if anyone in northern Baja is interested in starting a RPG group, or is interested in video games.

English speaking folks around here don't seem generally to be the High Fantasy sort of people - so if any of you are, it would be fun to hear from you!

Great!

I'm looking for someone to play the role of June Cleaver.

Permanently.

Hello Dennis and thanks for the welcome! I am in Rosarito Beach.

I never knew a doohickey like that was called an RPG - I am sure I had one of those once and I used it for stirring the cider vat. Worked just fine till one day it blew the bottom out.

Thank you SanQ. I never heard of this June Cleavage person before. I tend to do elves myself, but it's an honor to meet you.

Welcome to Nomads, btw.

Role playing games in Rosarito? it's really nice outside... go play in the ocean and make believe you're a dolphin.

Oh oopsy! I didn't notice that you didn't know what I meant and that I hadn't actually said. I can be a bit slow sometimes.

SanQ was right - RPG = Role Playing Game. The best known is Dungeons and Dragons, but there are lots of different ones.

If y'all are saying "it's all geek to me", I don't blame you. Just taking a longish shot to see if anyone might be interested.

Also I'm rather keen on some anime and on video games - though not the type with the doohickey variety of RPG in them which confusingly are called FPS (first person shooters) where you stalk around shooting folks with all kinds of fancy military hardware. I like them colorful and cute!

EDIT: This is streeeeeeemly annoying. I have given myself an avatar and it is not appearing. Am I doing anything wrong?

nothing that a xanax and a shot of Jack Daniels wouldn't fix. ;)

Hee - no I meant about the avatar. If you look at my perfile, my avvie is there looking as cute as a six-pack of capybaras. But here on the forums I am as blank and disenavatared as the day I was hatched.

Nice one about the Jack Daniels, though. Is that what they call rye humor?

Avitar

You need at least 25 posts under, or over your belt before you "qualify' for an Avitar.

On another note, once some people cross the border southbound into Baja, they are roleplaying.

Welcome to the board and anxiously awaiting your 25th post.

Thanks for the information Bajaguy. About the avvie and about the folks roleplaying as soon as they cross the border. I have been seeing a lot of folks in pixie costumes, but I thought it was just the Jack Daniels.
