Coyote Cal / Erendira?
Who can fill me in on the scoop for the above area?
How far off Hwy #1 is it and is it paved all the way?
Any RV parks or places for an RV with partial hook ups?
Fishing: Any Pangas for rent and how much $ for a day?

Haven't driven out that way in a few years. Road is paved to Erendira. Dirt from there to Cal's. I don think there are any RV parks or hookups.
Probably 10 - 15 miles from highway 1.

Agree with ateo, no RV parks as such, however lots of dry camp areas on the bluffs overlooking the beach. Panga fishing just North of town and lots
of nice sceinery everywhere. Road was good last time we were there, take it slow on the dirt North of town to the camp areas. Beach camping South of
town also, but the road is a little more difficult (not impossible) for a motorhome of your size. No RVs at Coyote Cals as far as I know. All in
all, not a bad stop-over on your way down to Loreto. BTW, when can we expect you???

Erindera
Road from Hwy 1 to Erindera is very nice and paved.
The road in Erindera was recently paved, though with a number of speed bumps.
Once you get to the end of the paved town road, you'll take a right paralleling the ocean to get to Coyote Cals - still an easy road.
You'll pass the fishing camps. Pangas can be "chartered" there.
Further out is Coyote Cals - a great stopping off spot. Rick is very hospitable.
Past Coyote Cals along the beach are very nice camping spots. We always go there while course marking for SCORE races.
No hookups any where - but very nice.

Been to Erindera and Punta Cabras a couple of times...
Never had any problem getting out there. As ncampion said, there's lots of good camping north of town...along the bluffs above the beaches. It
shouldn't be any problem finding a good level spot to park.
Lots of pretty scenery and nice beach to walk.

HWY 1 to Erendira is paved, about a 45 min drive. Driving through town and out (north) to Coyote Cals is dirt, about another 20-30 minutes. Cals is at
the end of town which then opens of to different coves and beaches.
Cals is a hostel with bunk bed and individual rooms. They have camping area as well, but I don't think any RV hookups, although Rick (the owner)
probably wouldn't have an issue with you parking there.
Castros fish camp is the place for pangas and fishing. Located between center of town and Cals. You should see sigh for it on your way out to Cals.
Since getting his beer license and opening up his bar, Cals is a little more party oriented than it used to be - sometimes too much so depending on
the crowd staying there. The locals come up there to party as well.

That's a fun place, we stayed there after taking the dirt road over from Santo Tomas on motorcycles, a bad road.

Down the road a bit.....That water area is called the White Tanks...good diving, plus our campsite was excellent...and free. Pack it in, pack it out.
