Flowers to purchase in Northen Baja?

Wondering if anyone has a tip for a place to buy flowers in the greater TJ/Rosa/Ensenada area? Looking for something more then the usual carnation/roses mix for a wedding next April.

Gracias in advance.

Flowers

In Tijuana, on Ninos Heroes Blvd., just before the McDonalds, there are sidewalk flower vendors in the evening, working the commuter traffic.

In Rosarito Centro, there are several florerias (flower shops) on the side streets various locations near the funeral parlors, in Rosarito Centro, off the main Blvd. Benito Juarez on the east side away from the ocean.

Cat, you are right around the corner from three of the best places to buy flowers, wholesale.

1. In la Mision there are two hot houses. One near the bridge in the river bed towards the orphanage and the other up in the hills near the old church.

2. Near the ruins of the El Camino Real mission just south of Primo Tapia.

Ask any of the locals how exactly to get there. If you contact them about a week in advance they can accommodate whatever you need.

The people at the floreria at the bridge in La Mision are very helpful and reasonably priced. I used them all the time for Dra. Bajabass. She loves her flowers!!! And me.:smug:

Thank you all for your suggestions. We checked out a few places today and it looks like Rancho Colorido Mexicano at KM. 65 Carretera Libre Ensenada ( east side of the road/south side of the bridge La Mision) is the winner. Large selection of cut flowers wholesale and many more types by this spring when my niece will be getting hitched on the beach in Baja. Gracias a todos! :saint:

Niece had her wedding Saturday on the terrace at La Fonda and the reception in the salon (old la fonda). There were 132 guests and everyone had a great time and the flowers were fabulous! :tumble: Thanks again for all the tips.
